Mercury in the early evening

Observatory Manager John Hargreaves captured 2 images of the planet Mercury just after sunset at the observatory. The first shows Mercury centred between the trees taken with a regular digital camera. The second is a image taken with the camera attached to the Cody 6” Zeiss telescope.
